Consisting of a single 43-minute composition, Forgiving  Eden represents a musical achievement of rare scope. ATM is based around the duo of keyboardists Rick Eddy and Tim Drumheller, and in this – their fifth release – their musical imaginations run free without ever leaving the listener in the dust. Live guitar and drums augment the group’s large arsenal of keyboard and synth sounds. The piece evolves and changes organically, but always with attention to harmonic and melodic development. Call it prog, call it film music; it’s an engaging listen either way.
